De 11 teams die rechtstreeks deelnemen aan de elite ronde worden vergezeld door de vijf teams die zich kwalificeerden via de hoofdronde. Deze 16 teams worden verdeeld in vier groepen van vier, gespeeld als mini-toernooien op één locatie.

De winnaar van elke groep en de twee beste nummers twee in de elite ronde kwalificeren zich rechtstreeks voor de UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO 2027 samen met gastland Kroatië.
De twee laagst geplaatste nummers twee kwalificeren zich voor de heen- en terugwedstrijd play-off die het laatste gekwalificeerde team zal bepalen.
Play-off
Een tweeluik bepaalt de laatste deelnemer aan het eindtoernooi. De nummer vier van de elite ronde trekt in de eerste wedstrijd thuis tegen de nummer drie van de elite ronde.
Eindtoernooi
Gastland Kroatië en de zeven gekwalificeerde teams worden ingedeeld in twee groepen van vier. De twee beste teams in elke groep gaan door naar de knock-outfase, te beginnen met de halve finales.

EUROPEES KAMPIOEN VROUWEN 2022

- Debutantanten Gibraltar en Bosnië-Herzegovina bevinden zich onder de 11 deelnemers die starten in de voorrondes.
- De 3 groepswinnaars van de voorrondes worden toegevoegd aan het hoofdtoernooi, waar ze zich aansluiten bij de 13 geplaatste landen waaronder titelhouder (Spanje) en de andere 3 finalisten van 2019 (Portugal, Rusland en Oekraïne).
- De 4 groepswinnaars van de hoofdrondes kwalificeren zich voor de knock-out finales, die door een van de deelnemers zal worden georganiseerd.

De loting van de UEFA Women’s Futsal EURO finales vindt plaats op vrijdag 28 januari a.s. in MartiniPlaza te Groningen, tijdens de rust van de UEFA Futsal EURO 2022-wedstrijd voor mannen tussen Oekraïne en Portugal, die om 20:30 uur begint.
